A public art commission for Compassionate Friends - a support group for people who have lost a child. 

Representing the pain of the loss of a child, a mother figure literally has an empty space and bares the scars of the loss. My design for this public art sculpture was chosen by the "Compassionate Friends", a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of parents who's childern have died. Located in Victoria Park, North Vancouver, BC
